Christmas 2018

We had a very special visitor to our school on Friday 22nd December. He met all the children and delivered a treat to everyone. Most importantly he told us that he had received all of our letters and we had all made the nice list!

On Thursday 20th December, we held a whole school assembly where we were treated to lots of festive performances by each class and our Trad band led by Ms. DeFaoite. We celebrtated in our Chritmas Colours and had a great day.

Our annual Carol Service took place on Tuesday 18th December. The choir was directed by the our very talented Ms. Rowely and Ms DeFaoite and Ms Dillon provided music on the piano and concertina. Our trad band made their debut public perfermance and were spectacular.

Tuesday 18th December, Junior and Senior Infants boarded the Polar Expess for a magical journey to the North Pole. After having listened to and enjoyed the storybook, 'The Polar Express' over the preceeding days, the children had the opportunity to wear their dressing gowns and slippers in their dramatisation of the book.
