Science Blast exhibiton
On Thursday March 7th 2019, 6th Class had an early start as they headed to the RDS to present their project at the Science Blast exhibiton. The project was titled 'I Sea, You Sea, We Sea the Problem: How is Marine Pollution Affecting Irish Waters?' The day was a huge success as there was such a variety of things to do and see. The class took turns presenting the project to judges and visitors in small groups, while they also had plenty of time to explore other schools' projects and watch the variety of shows on offer which included 'The XX Factor', a show about female scientists, and 'The Science of Breakdancing.' There were also a range of activities to enjoy such as slime making, kite making and circuit building, while the free merchandise went down a treat! Well done to the girls who worked so hard on their project and represented the school excellently in the RDS.
