On Monday March 11th 6th Class headed to Mt. Saint Anne’s Retreat Centre in Co. Laois to engage in a retreat as part of their preparation for Confirmation which will take place on Sunday March 24th 2019. The girls had a fabulous day as they had the opportunity to engage in many activities including prayer, chatting, meditation and painting. They also got to stroll through the lovely grounds around the centre and they were treated to a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits at break and lunch time. The day ended in a beautiful prayer service where many of the girls got to showcase their talents. The retreat is always a highlight of 6th Class for the children and an important milestone in their preparation for Confirmation.
