Senior Infants have had a wonderful December preparing for Christmas! We read lots of great Christmas stories such as the Polar Express, the Night Before Christmas & the Snowman – followed by our Snowman Movie Day! We have learned all about Advent and Christmas this month. We have covered data & the number 7 in our maths. Bhíomar ag foghlaim faoi siopadóireacht agus an Nollaig as Gaeilge. In Literacy, we have learned all about the vowel sounds and how sometimes, 2 vowels can stick together to make a new sound! We also learned all about penguins in SESE and we linked this to our literacy when we wrote reports about penguins! We created some wonderful Christmas & Winter artwork & learned some Christmassy songs to prepare for Parents’ Day this month – post to follow!
