Room 5 have had a great lead into the Easter holidays! We celebrated World Book Day this month & we had great fun taking trips to the library, designing our favourite book a new cover & of course dressing up as our favourite book characters! We are making steady progress in reading & writing, we have covered all our new sounds for this year & we are doing lots of revision. We wrote lovely pieces about our mammies for Mother’s Day using some interesting adjectives! In maths, we have had great fun learning about capacity & the number 10. In Science, we investigated forces that either pull or push & we looked at how different toys can move using these forces. We explored using clay in visual art & we made & decorated our own pinch flower pots!
