Senior Infants have had a great November & it has flown by! We had a great time with both Ms Gleeson & Ms Mulvin. We learned all about length, 3D shapes and counting & combining in maths. As Gaeilge our themes were éide scoile & cluiche peile. In literacy we are finished revising our single sounds and we are excited to begin learning our vowel digraphs in December. In SESE, we learned about play & playgrounds, and we interviewed parents & grandparents about games they played when they were younger. We learned about toys around the world in geography. In visual art, we studied the work of Wassily Kadinsky & his style of using circles & overlapping. We made some lovely Kadinksy inspired circle and love heart art also. As part of STEM week. we learned about how shadows are formed & we had lots of fun maths games, maths trails and activities to take part in!
