Fourth class have been learning all about Egypt and Ancient Egypt in S.E.S.E. They learned how to write in hyroglifics, built pyramids with Lego, made Egyptian Death Masks during art and Mummified apples during science.

We celebrated National Fitness Day on 23rd September with circuit training. Thank you to the Active Committee organising this event.

We are learning how to work well as a team. Look at these photos which show great teamwork! Huddled, focused and working together!

We had a lovely afternoon playing on the new playground equipment. We look forward to many more visits to the playground this year.

It was very spooky in Room 1. Well done to everyone for making a great effort for our Spooky Walk!

We start each day with table top activities to help develop out fine motor and social skills. It is always so much fun!

Congratulations to our school debating team (Nevaeh Levingston, Claire Condron, Alice Beary, Ava Haughan, Rosie Donnelly, Emily Waters, Alice Russell, Ailbhe Walford, Abbie O Donnell and Nadia Piesik), who have just beaten Twomilehouse N.S. in the first round of the Primary Debating Festival 2022/23. The debate took place via Zoom, with our girls opposing the motion that “school uniforms should be a thing of the past”. Every team member put in such hard work and lots of preparation for today’s debate. The research and structure of the debates was a full team effort. Well done to the girls and to their mentors, Ms. Costello, Ms. Banks and Ms. Dillon. We look forward to progressing to the next round of the competition.
