Bunscoil Bhríde Debaters through to Kildare Semi-finals!

A huge congratulations to the girls on the debate team, who were successful in proposing the motion ‘Electic cars are the best way for counties to reduce their emissions’. They completed the debate over zoom against St. Patrick’s NS, Celbridge. The team consisted of Ava Haughan, Lily Broderick, Alice Beary, Orna Manning, Róise Stenson, Róisín Mather, Rósie Ryan, Anna Kenna, Brooke Redfern, Clara O’ Loughlin and Maria Pop. The girls showed incredible teamwork, passion and confidence during the entire debate, and were highly commended by the adjudicator. We are now through to the semi-finals in January which is a fantastic achievement. We are very proud of the entire team. Congratulations to the girls and their mentors, Ms Banks, Ms Costello and Ms Dillon!
