Chess Room 6!

The girls in Room 6 have started learning how to play chess! We began by exploring the pawn and learning how it moves around the board. Over the coming weeks, we will be introducing the rook, bishop and knight.

Chess is a fantastic way to develop problem-solving, concentration, critical thinking and strategic skills, while also encouraging patience, perseverance and learning through play. We can’t wait to learn more!
