First Win for our first ever Camogie Team!

· Camogie Blitz: Well done to the girls who on a blustery and showery day yeesterday in Ballymany represented our school so well in our first ever Camogie blitz. These girls deserve great praise for attending training and taking on and trying a new and very skillful sport. The girls played two games against Patricians and Scoil Mhuire, both games were very evenly contested and we were thrilled to record a win in our final game against Scoil Mhuire! The team were jubilant in their celebrations and even more so when our own Sarah Doyle was singled out by the referee as player of the tournament. Comhghairdeas Sarah! Ward, N.Piesik, A.R Murphy, S. Doyle, Á, O’ Loughlin, A. Walford. This team have led the way for budding Bunscoil Bhríde camogie stars of the future. Thanks to Ms. Millane, Ms. Frawley and Mr. O’Sullivan who coach the team after school and to Jason Payne who supplies the schools with hurleys and helmets.
