Our Junior Infants had a fantastic time exploring maths through fun, hands-on station activities with their buddies in 5th Class! The children became Number Detectives, rolled dice to count and move, used playdough to compare lengths, went on a colourful classroom hunt and became Pattern Detectives. The 5th Class pupils were wonderful role models, patiently guiding the Junior Infants through each activity, explaining the tasks clearly, asking questions and encouraging them to think mathematically. Their kindness, enthusiasm and support helped the younger children build confidence and enjoy learning. It was a lovely opportunity for both classes to work together, share their knowledge and develop friendships while discovering that maths can be fun!
