Basketball Season At Bunscoil Bhríde

Our basketball season started in November 2022 as we took part in the Cumann na mBunscol basketball league. We have had a massive turn out from the senior classes, with over 40 girls participating in training each week with Ms. Dineen & Ms. Gleeson.

We had a very successful outing in the league this year, making it to the semi-finals! We played teams from Caragh NS, Prosperous & Castledermot. All the girls showed great commitment & teamwork throughout the season and they worked so hard. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for us on the semi-final days but everyone tried their absolute best & enjoyed the experience.

On March 9th our 6th class girls participated in a basketball blitz in Prosperous. The girls displayed a super turn out on the day but unfortunately it didn’t go our way in the end. Well done to all of the girls that took part, we still had some super scores on the day and we are so proud of their efforts throughout.
