Canal Walk

This week the girls in 5th class were lucky to receive an amazing talk from Nuala Madigan on the canal! We started by learning all about the Royal and the Grand Canal in the halla, before taking off on a walk down to our very own canal here in Rathangan. During the walk, we stopped to learn some interesting facts about the canal, and completed some colour and invertebrate hunts by the water. Have a look at our work below!
