Drumming Workshop 2019
All children in the school participated in a DRUM NATURE drumming workshop on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th and May.
The aim of DRUM NATURE is to use rhythm-based events to create a positive outlet for creativity, energy and self-expression. Using drums and percussion, the children together in their class groupings created a unique in-the-moment rhythm consisting of everyone’s individual contribution.
While a facilitator assisted this process, ultimately the music was made by the children. Drum circles are about community, creativity and fun and the children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.
