As part of Catholic Schools Week, on Wednesday 1st February, we were delighted to celebrate Grandparents’ Day and to have the opportunity to welcome many of our wonderful grandparents back to Bunscoil Bhríde. The grandparents visited the classrooms and were treated to wonderful performances of songs and poems from all the classes. They also had the opportunity to see the fabulous work that the children had displayed in the classrooms. It was a fantastic learning experience for the children as they discovered what life was like for their grandparents when they were young. Our hard-working parent association members were on hand in the halla to serve tea, coffee and treats to the grandparents throughout the day. It was a truly enjoyable day and a memorable one for all the children and grandparents.
