Grandparents’ Day 2024

As part of Catholic Schools Week, we celebrated Grandparents’Day in January. We were so lucky to have so many wonderful grandparents visit our classroom and see some of the girls’ work. To remember those who could not be with us on the day, each child wrote a prayer and we displayed them in the room. We had stations set up around the room, where grandparents could make St. Brigid’s Crosses, do some artwork with their grandchild and even have a game of bingo! The girls also interviewed their grandparents on their lives in school. Finally, we performed some tunes on the tin whistle and sang some songs. It was a fabulous to have grandparents join in with the songs. Have a look at the day below!
